How you can help
Work on this project has already begun, the Church Council deciding to allow reserves to be used to enable the project to go ahead immediately. But it is vital that these funds are replaced as soon as possible to allow us to meet future needs.The Friends of St Mary’s have generously agreed to meet the cost of the lighting (£15,000). This reduces the total to be raised from £63,000 to £48,000. Through this appeal, we are inviting significant donations both in number and size towards this sum. In addition to donations towards the general costs there is also an opportunity to give specific items such as the benches, the aumbry and the handrail (sums as on the form).
Donations can be put in the offertory box in the church using the white envelopes provided.
If you can fill in the front details for gift aid, the church can reclaim £2.80 for each £10 donated (until the April 2011 budget).
In any case please write "BUILDING APPEAL" on the reverse.
