The eye of God

The ‘Eye of God’ window, seen here from inside the church, is a restoration which dates from 1858.

The church was originally built with a window like this, but it was replaced with a Perpendicular style window, probably in the 15th century.

The window is above the West Door, on the West Front of the church.
