If you have a friend or relative in hospital who would appreciate a visit from one of the clergy please email the Vicar who will be pleased to visit regardless of church affiliation.

Good News! We welcome Stephen Richardson who after completing his training as a Methodist Deacon will be moving to Rose Hill in August/September with his wife Gillian. He and our own deacon Gill plan to work closely together. Please keep praying for this exciting project for Rose Hill

Can you provide overnight accomodation for CMS visitors? expenses will be paid.

Fair Trade St Mary's supports free trade and is happy to call your attention to the site of Trading Fairly an Anglican Church initiative which helps you to source Fairtrade products. You can also buy from the St Mary's fairtrade stall in the church hall on the first Sunday of the month. It is held after the 10 am service. If you are unable to come to the service, the stall opens at about 11.15.

Other News

Did you know that milk bottle tops can be recycled for the benefit of the Alzheimer Society? The plastic bottle tops are sold to raise funds and after processing they become the fabric fleece used for jackets, hats, etc. The particular plastic milk bottle tops that are required have a small triangle with the number 2 on the inside. Please wash and take to the church or contact 716859.

What's happening to the St Augustine's School Site Well it's all here. Updated 3 March 2008

Probably the most important thing happening at this time is the project to regenerate Rose Hill.
It is reported in the press that planning permission was granted in October 2007 which puts the project on schedule. For general background on the project, click here.
