"Enhancing St Mary’s" Phase 2
This is dependent on the PCC deciding to to proceed and the Diocesean Advisory Committee granting the necessary Faculty.The main work is a new window for the North Wall of the Baptistry
It will need to compliment the Piper window on the opposite (South) wall.
Distinguished local artist
Roger Wagner has been asked to execute the design.
The Critchley Charitable Trust has very generously offered to fund the proposed stained glass window!
The window is well worth detailed study and you can download a large high resolution picture and then left click on it to enlarge it.
Other enhancements are to replace the altar rail for a lighter removable rail in keeping with the chancel improvements, a new noticeboard in the baptistry and removing the heavy cumbersome font cover
